Health Quality & Safety Commission co-design training project

The HQSC is about to commence a project on developing co-design within the Primary Care Sector. The intention is to foster collaboration between local primary care teams to build capability in co-design, raise awareness of patient & consumer engagement, increase knowledge of service design methods, and apply these principles to a project of choice. The focus of this work will be achieving equity in health outcomes.

Health professionals are being encouraged to watch the new learning modules on understanding bias in health care, to be launched in November for Wiki Haumaru Tūroro | Patient Safety Week 2019. Patient Safety Week is an awareness-raising week held from 3 to 9 November. It is coordinated by the Health Quality & Safety Commission, with partners ACC and PHARMAC.
