The Faculty na hÉireann (FNE) was created in 2021 with the objective of actively promoting and supporting initiatives for the recognition of Urgent Care as a specialty in Ireland. With a growing number of doctors on the training and recertification programme, FNE supports registrars with their RNZCUC training and Fellows with post-Fellowship work.
FNE plans to have collaborations with the HSE, RCSI and other entities to work towards the recognition of urgent care as a vocational speciality.
