Thank you to all that completed this survey. We’ve had several requests from registrars and Fellows asking what the typical remuneration and conditions are for urgent care doctors. The Treasurer, Dr Steve Adams, took the lead to conduct the survey. The results have been summarised with all personal or sensitive information removed.
Markers have requested that registrars send electronic copies (eg pdf or word) of the full text of all references used in the submitted Medical Literature Project. This is because the markers do check references, and the time taken to source the full text of the reference can be significant.
We have completed the transfer of the recertification manual, and the elements of the training programme manual that referred to recertification, to the website. Requirements are now embedded in a series of pages, starting with the introduction page ( https://rnzcuc.org.nz/recertification/ ). You can save each page as a pdf if you wish to retain a hard copy. Relevant forms and more detailed instructions are available through links on the pages.
Important news for registrars – the College research paper is now called the Medical Literature Project , and the instructions have been refined slightly.
