UCPEX
UCPEX went as smoothly as ever, and this year we were able to share the results well within the three week window we set ourselves. Results were sent out last week. Registrars – if you are expecting them and haven’t seen them, check your inbox and spam/junk folder. If still not there, contact alex@rnzcuc.org.nz to be advised of your results.
Courses and training 2025
We are finalising course dates for next year. This include Comms, PALS, Trauma, SDAW, UCPEX, and a supervisor level two training course. The office staff will be in touch if you need to do them, but if you are keen to attend and have not yet heard anything, email us at office@rnzcuc.org.nz and we will reply with confirmation or other advice. Check out the calendar for dates.
Annual Surveys
I am finalising the annual surveys and will be able to share links to them very shortly. They have undergone a significant review and are shorter and more focused this year. We are asking about opportunities in your workplace for training and professional development, but we’ve moved remuneration and workforce/clinical questions to the remuneration and workforce survey which we will send out in the middle of 2025.
Urgent Care Course
The urgent care course on Goodfellow will be turned off sometime soon, in preparation for the migration of the course to TalentLMS, a new learning platform. This will give us a lot more flexibility AND, in time, will integrate closely with UCCIS. The aim is for TalentLMS to be up and running by 1 February 2025.

Office standdown
The office will be closed from Monday 23 December to Friday 3 January. We will be attending to urgent matters via email but it would help if you could advise us ASAP if there is something you want sorted before the end of the year. If you wish to drop something off or pick something up from the office, please arrange for this to happen outside these dates. If you are unable to do this, then we will be able to open the office as long as we have arranged it in advance.
