We are seeking permanent or part-time Urgent Care Doctors to join our clinical team, at the Wellington Accident and Urgent Medical Centre (WAMC) located close to Wellington Regional Hospital.

WAMC is open 8am-9pm 365 days a year and we offer a supportive and fast paced urgent care environment with focus on providing the best possible patient care. WAMC sees around 42,000 patients a year.  Additional services operate on site including fracture and travel clinics, Pharmacy and X-ray services.

Ideally you will be a RNZCUC fellow, or advanced trainee, with Urgent Care or Emergency Department experience and be able to work both independently and as part of a team.

·         Current registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand
·         Legal right to work in New Zealand
·         Current Medical Indemnity Insurance
·         Current ACLS Certificate
·         Excellent written English and communication skills
·         Ability to work nights and weekends
·         Flexible and adaptable team player
