The Essex-Lopresti Fracture is a radial head fracture with dislocation of the DRUJ, and an associated tearing of the IO membrane. They are often missed and have delayed diagnoses. With the right mechanism of injury we must carefully examine the forearm for not just pain, but also laxity.
