Membership Changeover
We extend our congratulations to our former subcommittee members—Adrianne, Zilah, and Sanjeev—who have recently graduated as Fellows of the Urgent Care College. We are pleased to welcome four new members to our team:

Each brings a wealth of experience and diverse backgrounds to our committee. Additionally, we would like to announce that the role of Convenor has been transitioned from Adrianne to (Palm) Pisek.

Registrar Orientation Webinar

Advance Registrar Focus Group
The first meeting of the Advance Registrar Focus Group was held on August 7, 2024, with Palm and ten other registrars from various colleges in attendance. Organized by Alex Marett from the Council of Medical Colleges, this group aims to advocate for the advanced trainee voice within Te Whatu Ora, addressing issues such as training costs, quality, pathways, and workforce retention.
Future meetings will focus on compiling one-page summaries of the issues raised by advance trainees. We welcome any submissions, ideas, or solutions you may have. Please email us at regsc@rnzcuc.org.nz
