Notice of Annual General Meeting

The next AGM of the Royal New Zealand College of Urgent Care is to be held at the Vodafone Events Centre, 770 Great South Rd, Wiri, Manukau 2104, at 6pm on Saturday 28 March 2020.  The AGM follows the first day of the Goodfellow Symposium, being held that weekend.

The agenda, and instructions for voting (including online and by proxy) will be sent in early March.

Nominations for Executive Committee now open

At the AGM the College appoints members of the Executive Committee.  Nominations are now open.

At the 2020 AGM there will be three vacancies to be filled; one officer position (secretary) and two committee member positions.  Should any current committee member successfully stand for the officer position, the additional committee member position that becomes vacant will be filled from those standing for the committee member positions.  Those standing down in March 2020 are eligible to be re-elected if they wish to stand again.

You may nominate yourself, or another member of the College.  If you wish to nominate another member, please first confirm that they would like to stand for a position, which position(s), then email the General Manager ( with your nomination.

Members may stand for both the secretary position and committee member position.  Votes cast for them in each position are not transferred to the other position.

Those nominated will be asked to:

  • Clearly identify which post(s) they wish to stand for.
  • Send a short bio that can be published on the website. See the website for examples.
  • Be available for a podcast interview.
  • Prepare a short video that can be published to our private Vimeo account, and linked from the website.

The period for nominations ends at 9am Friday 13 March.  Voting for all positions will be open from 3pm Friday 20 March.
