Locum Doctors

Anglesea Clinic has been providing medical services to Waikato families since 1987. Open to the public 24-hours/seven days a week, the clinic is an accredited urgent care practice, providing both urgent medical care (for unwell patients) and urgent injury care (for accidents and injuries). On any given day patients present at the clinic with a wide range of urgent requirements, so we work collaboratively as a team to attend to patients with efficiency and high-quality care. We are a diverse, caring, and dynamic bunch of people, who work together to serve our community.

Are you looking for shorter shifts to fit in and around your lifestyle? Over the coming months we have several short-term placements available for Doctors to join us on a Locum basis. This is an amazing opportunity for you to upskill and gain experience in an urgent care setting whilst bringing a fresh perspective to our clinic and team. We recognize flexibility is an advantage to being a Locum and flexibility looks different for everyone. Our overall goal is to accommodate your needs as much as possible whilst you provide exceptional care to our patients.
We require cover in the clinic for the following dates (hours negotiable):

1 & 2 February
8 & 9 February
Plus, other various dates over the next six months

About you:
You’ll need the following:
Hold a General Registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand
Urgent care, GP or ED experience is preferred (or equivalent)
Be legally eligible to work in New Zealand

You’ll also need verbal references from a previous employer that can vouch for your sound clinical skills and your excellent interpersonal skills.
