Urgent Care trainee 2020 – current

Biographical information :
Originally from Malaysia, I embarked my medical training and career in Ireland. I graduated from National University of Ireland, Galway in 2008 and continue my Paediatric training in Dublin until I moved to New Zealand in 2012. I continued with Paediatric Registrar position in Christchurch and Wellington until 2018 when I decided to redirect my medical training back to Emergency Department and Adult Medicine prior working in Primary Health Care.
I am currently an advanced trainee based in Hamilton with special interest in Paediatrics and Public Health. I joined the Registrar Subcommittee because It will give me an opportunity to advocate the needs of the registrars and to support trainees throughout our fellowship training and journey.
Outside work, I enjoy running in particular trail and ultra-running with running club members in Hamilton. I love to reconnect with my local community group on weekly Zumba and Pilates classes as well. At my leisure time, I enjoy hiking, travel and practicing my photography skill.
