Biographical information:

Claudia is the new subcommittee member. Born and raised in Leiden, The Netherlands, she found herself in NZ doing a research paper in the field of anaesthesia.
After falling in love with the country, she decided to make NZ her home after graduating Medical School. 
She started a new journey in UC in 2025 when becoming a new Mum after a long history in anaesthesia with special interest in trauma and obstetrics.
Claudia works in Hamilton and has a special interest in trauma & resus, obstetrics and mental health.

When she is not working, you can find her hanging out with her family and friends, hiking up a trail with her husky Yura, or travelling to new places.
