Join Anglesea Clinic Urgent Care’s dedicated team of healthcare professionals as a dedicated nightshift (11pm-8am) Doctor in Hamilton Central, Waikato.

Anglesea Clinic Urgent Care is a leading provider of high-quality, accessible healthcare services in the Waikato region. Our team of experienced healthcare professionals is committed to delivering exceptional patient care 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Working in our 24/7 urgent care clinic, you will play a vital role in providing essential medical services to the local community. This opportunity is on a permanent or locum basis and we are flexible on the number of shifts worked per week.

What you’ll be doing:

• Assessing and treating patients with a wide range of acute medical conditions
• Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests as needed
• Prescribing appropriate medication and treatments
• Providing referrals to specialists or other healthcare providers
• Maintaining detailed and accurate medical records
• Collaborating with the nursing team to ensure high-quality patient care
• Adhering to all relevant medical regulations and Anglesea Clinic’s policies

What we’re looking for:

• Registration as a medical practitioner with the Medical Council of New Zealand
• At least 3 years’ experience working as a doctor, preferably in an urgent care or emergency setting
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to work effectively with patients and the healthcare team
• Demonstrated time management and prioritisation skills to handle a fast-paced environment
• A commitment to delivering high-quality, compassionate patient-centered care
