The Royal New Zealand College of Urgent Care (RNZCUC) is seeking dedicated individuals to join the Education Committee (EdC). The EdC holds delegated authority for the strategic development, delivery, and monitoring of all training and education programmes. As a member, you will contribute to the oversight and ongoing maintenance of then Urgent Care curriculum and training programme.
Key responsibilities include:
- engaging with diverse stakeholders
- participating in quality assurance and improvement activities including ongoing monitoring and evaluation activities for the training programme.
- joining working subcommittees that report to the EDC (e.g. Progress and Compliance Committee, Approved Training Facility Committee).
- committing time outside of meetings to clinical education tasks, such as the development of assessment forms and revision of course materials
- providing guidance and advice for a range of training and education issues affecting RNZCUC trainees, including ensuring Te Tiriti o Waitangi principles are upheld in the Urgent Care Training Programme
- attendance of virtual meetings at least every 2 months
A clinical education background is preferred but not necessary, and we welcome expressions of interest from all members.
