Nominations for Distinguished Fellows are now being accepted
Closing date is 31 May.
Please see teh Distinguished Fellow policy document which contains the relevant form for submission.
I am pleased to advise that the Distinguished Fellow policy and process have been launched. We intend to award the first batch of Distinguished Fellow awards at the Fellowship ceremony (Saturday 19 September) which coincides with Bootcamp.
- The award recognises Fellows who have made exceptional and sustained contributions to urgent care medicine, the College, or the health of New Zealanders.
- Nominations must be submitted by a current RNZCUC Fellow using the official form and must include at least two signed letters of support.
- Nominees must have been a Fellow for at least 5 years and are a current or retired Fellow.
- Nominees are assessed on their excellence in areas such as clinical leadership, service to the College, education, and commitment to equity and Te Tiriti o Waitangi principles.
- For complete details on the policy, assessment process, timelines, and to access the nomination form, please refer to the Distinguished Fellow policy document.
- By the time you read this post, the nomination form should be a pdf that has fields that you can complete. Please download a copy then complete the relevant fields. If not, please feel free to copy the headings and provide the relevant information in a separate document.
Please consider nominating those Fellows (past or present) who you believe satisfy the criteria for nomination.
The policy deadline of 31 March for nominations does not apply this year. Instead, please submit your nomination by 31 May to allow time for the assessment and deliberation in time for the Fellowship Ceremony.
