General news

Registrations for the Goodfellow Symposium 2025 are open. It is on the weekend of March 22 and 23, 2025.

For the urgent care stream, we have some fantastic talks.

Dr Craig Ellis asks – are we underthinking anaphylaxis? Things you were taught that might be wrong.

Dr Rachael Niederer will talk to us about sudden visual loss.

Dr Khang Gan will help us approach the acutely short-of-breath child.

Erin Carn-Bennet and Khang Gan will be talking about how psychologically safe simulation can improve team work and connections in urgent care.

Dr Katie Bach will be talking us through paediatric dental trauma.

Dr Aaron Wong will be covering common eye conditions presenting to urgent care.

Dr Laura Joyce and Finn Brokenshire will be presenting a paper on the effectiveness of community AF clinics.

And Dr Dan Exeter will be giving us an update on acute sports injuries.

There is plenty here that will improve your urgent care practice, and, as always, there are other talks, workshops, streams, and lectures throughout the weekend. We look forward to seeing you all there.
