We have updated the one-page summary of Urgent Care in New Zealand using the data collected from clinics this year. This summary provides a snapshot of how urgent care contributes to primary health delivery in New Zealand. It will be shared with all Urgent Care clinics and key stakeholders.
Further analysis of the data will illustrate national trends over time (e.g. yearly, quarterly, seasonal) in the categories of utilisation including different demographics, the timings of consultations, patient types, consultation reason, and by acuity level. Analysis will also concentrate on people in need (priority populations).
This more granular data will be shared with clinics and other stakeholders when it is available.
