The College is required to hold an AGM each year. The March meeting did not achieve a quorum and therefore cannot count as the AGM.
Notice of Annual General Meeting
The next AGM of the Royal New Zealand College of Urgent Care will be held at 6pm on Saturday 25 July 2020. We will use webinar technology and attendance will be via videoconference.
The agenda, and instructions for voting (including online and by proxy) will be sent in early July.
Nominations for Executive Committee now open
At the AGM the College appoints members of the Executive Committee. Nominations are now open. Nominations for the March AGM are not carried forward.
At the 2020 AGM there will be three (updated information – probably four) vacancies to be filled; one officer position (secretary) and two (three) committee member positions. Should any current committee member successfully stand for the officer position, or stand down for other reasons, the additional committee member position(s) that becomes vacant will be filled from those standing for the committee member positions. Those standing down in 2020 are eligible to be re-elected if they wish to stand again.
You may nominate yourself, or another member of the College. If you wish to nominate another member, please first confirm that they would like to stand for a position, which position(s), then email the General Manager (adrian@rnzcuc.org.nz) with your nomination.
Members may stand for both the secretary position and committee member position(s). Votes cast for them in each position are not transferred to the other position.
Those nominated will be asked to:
- Clearly identify which post(s) they wish to stand for.
- Send a short bio that can be published on the website. See the website for examples.
- Be available for a podcast interview.
- Prepare a short video that can be published to our private Vimeo account, and linked from the website.
The period for nominations ends at 3pm Friday 10 July. Voting for all positions will be open from 3pm Friday 17 July and close 3pm Saturday 25 July.
