Wellington Accident and Urgent Medical Centre (WAMC) has opportunities for 2 Doctors to join our permanent team.
We are owned by the GPs of Wellington and have been operating for over 30 years. We are a fully accredited Urgent Care Centre with both pharmacy and Radiology on site.
We are open 365 days of the year from 8am to 9pm.
We have 2 vacant positions for permanent Urgent Care fellows or trainees to provide care to patients with both day shifts and evening / weekend shifts in their rotation.
Ideally you would work between 24 to 30 hours per week (Made up of day/evening and weekend shifts on a regular roster) or a minimum of 16 hours per week
The preferred candidate will be a RNZCUC fellow or advanced trainee with significant Urgent Care or Emergency Department experience and be able to work both independently and as part of a team.
To be considered for this role you must have:
- Current registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand
- Be a New Zealand resident or hold a full work permit
- Current Medical Indemnity Insurance
- Current ACLS Certificate
- Excellent written English and communication skills
- Ability to work evenings and weekends
- Be flexible and adaptable
