We have an exciting vacancy for a Urgent Care Doctor.
Our clinic is a large combined GP and Urgent Care practice located in Manukau, the heart of South Auckland.
We are Urgent Care and Cornerstone Accredited. Our Urgent Care runs 8am-8pm 7 days per week and GP side Monday-Friday 8am-4.30pm.
You will be working with great team of experienced nurses, doctors and medical receptionists during your shifts. We are a friendly, multicultural team with a passion for teaching and increasing the skills of all our team members.
We are supportive of our applicant completing Urgent Care Fellowship training and have dedicated teaching for this. We also offer supervision for junior doctors or overseas doctors who are looking to move to Primary Care.
We are a NZ Immigration accredited employer.To be successful you must:
- Have NZ residency, a work visa or be eligible to work in New Zealand
- Registration as a medical practitioner in NZ
- Commitment to Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and relevant in house training modules as part of our accreditation.
- Qualifications & experience in a range of General Practice or Urgent Care services is helpful.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Confidence in a wide variety of cultures and personalities.
- A commitment to helping us achieve equitable health outcomes for our Maori and other disadvantaged or vulnerable cultural groups.
