Are you a dedicated and experienced doctor ready to take on a leadership role? The Medical and Injury Centre, an accredited Urgent Care Clinic near the heart of the city, is looking for someone like you!
With over 29,000 patient visits annually, our bustling clinic is home to a seasoned team of Urgent Care Physicians, General Practitioners, Nurse Practitioners, Nurses, and Health Care Assistants who work together to provide exceptional care.
We’re searching for a doctor who:
- Is a Fellow of RNZCUC
- Can lead our Urgent Care team in Nelson
- Has the ability to support and guide our General Practice
Your commitment:
- At least 20 hours per week (0.5 FTE), with opportunities for more hours and a flexible schedule to fit your life
Clinic Hours:
- Open from 8 AM to 10 PM
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
- Fellowship with RNZCUC
- Current annual practicing certificate
- Significant leadership and urgent care experience
- CORE Advanced certification
- Proficiency with acute presentations including:
- X-ray and minor injury treatments
- ECG interpretation
- Community-based IV therapies
