What you will be doing In this role, you will be supporting the Clinical Director in overseeing clinical performance and management of the 24 Hour Surgery’s medical workforce. Through leadership, planning and service development, you will support clinical and service excellence for patients requiring urgent accident or medical care. The role will include an equal balance of clinical and non-clinical time. As our Associate Clinical Director you will have a close working relationship with all 24HS staff, and be part of the 24HS’s senior leaders’ team. You can expect that this role will see you: Ensuring the delivery of clinical excellence to patients presenting to 24HS, Leading and support in clinical service performance, Driving medical workforce recruitment and retention, In conjunction with the leadership team supporting the development of: the 24HS strategic plan and translating that into operational plans; the 24HS model of care, Supporting the clinical complaints and incidents process, Maintaining effective relationships with GPs, ED and Specialist Hospital colleagues, Understanding the necessity for 24HS to operate as a viable and financially solvent business, you will demonstrate leadership and solution focused actions in operational decision making, Committed to the mission and values of the Pegasus Health, and upholding its principles. This position is for 32-40 hours per week. What you will bring RNZCUC vocationally registration desirable Proven leadership ability in a multidisciplinary environment, Excellent clinical skills within the Urgent Care environment, A current Annual Practicing Certificate, ACLS and Medical Protection, Understanding and commitment to to continuous improvement, Commitment to, and the ability to implement organisational change, Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with a wide variety of people, Highly developed written, verbal and interpersonal skills, Evidence of ability to demonstrate sound judgment at a senior leadership level, Demonstratable experience in clinical governance and in clinical risk management.
