We are seeking an Urgent care Doctor to join our (Smales Farm/Greville Road) Urgent care clinical team.

Shorecare was established in 1973 and has over 50 years’ experience servicing the Northshore population, seeing 85,000 patients a year across two urgent care clinics. As an urgent care clinic, we see patients on a walk in basis and have no enrolled patients. Our 24-hour clinic is at Smales Farm, Takapuna, with our new purpose-built clinic operating 8am-8pm located at Greville Road, Albany. Both clinics operate 365 days per year.

We pride ourselves on being progressive and innovative with a focus on providing high quality healthcare within a supportive team environment and culture. The clinic is well supported by local GPs, regular Orthopaedic and wound care clinics. Onsite radiology, after hours pharmacy, hand therapy and physiotherapist, Close to motorways, beaches and cafes.

You need to be a RNZCUC fellow or advanced trainee, with significant Urgent Care or Emergency Department experience, and be able to work both independently and as part of a team. A commitment to providing high level, patient centred, and evidence based medical care is essential. Experience with Medtech 32 or Evolution is an advantage, though not essential.

We would require you hold the following:

Be a Fellow or advanced trainee of the Royal New Zealand College of Urgent Care
Legally be entitled to work in New Zealand
Current registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand
Current Medical Indemnity Insurance
Current ACLS certificate
Excellent English written and communication skills
