The essential knowledge quiz is now live!

The essential knowledge quiz is an interactive online quiz designed to familiarise you with the domains of competence described in Good medical practice, Medical Council statements, and RNZCUC policies and statements. When you get 15/15 correct, you will be able to claim one hour of CPD by uploading your competition email to Eportfolio.

NZ College of Primary Health Care Nurses Urgent Care Nurses Network

Shell Piercy is a Nurse who works in urgent care. Together with the New Zealand College of Health Care Nurses and the NZNO she has developed the Urgent Care Nurses Network. Their aim is to develop specific training for nurses in urgent care as well as creating progression pathways from new graduate to Nurse Practitioner. A member of the college created a page for Doctors working in Urgent Care in New Zealand. It is open to any doctor working in Urgent Care whether or not they are part of the college, this way people can join and get the information/support they need before deciding to pursue Urgent Care training. This group is not run by the college, but is likely to be a useful resource for urgent care doctors.
