The fourth urgent care Bootcamp was a fantastic success, with our members able to reconnect, re-energise, and rekindle passions for urgent care practice. Over 90 delegates attended the Bootcamp on Saturday and were treated to exciting, fast-paced, and thought-provoking talks. Over 70 guests attended the Fellowship ceremony and dinner and celebrated our recent Fellows. We had a great turnout at the Sunday panel discussions which helped focus everyone on what needs to be done at a system level to allow urgent care to provide the right care, to the right people, in the right places, at the right time.

UCCIS – add learning notes and load documentation
Everyone is reminded that UCCIS has the facility to add your own notes and to upload supporting documents, and that these will be checked when we review your CPD/TP records. Depending on the activity, you have spaces to enter notes, for example your own reflective learnings or patient benefits. Most activity types provide the ability to load documents. Please use these fields and upload supporting documentation when you enter the activity to avoid the office having to issue a reminder that you may be behind on compliance.

Venous Leg Ulcer Stakeholder Survey
The NZWCS are partners in the Pan Pacific working group to update the practice guideline for prevention and management of venous leg ulcers. We need a NZ perspective and your members/colleagues voice, from those who have experienced a leg ulcer or are caring or cared for family/Whānau with a leg ulcer, on what they deem important in preventing and managing venous leg ulcers so practice recommendations can be made. Hence, your role in promoting this survey to your members is very important to the Society. The anonymous survey has gained ethical approval and takes 10-15minutes to complete and expires on the 16 October 2022. The Society would greatly appreciate if you could share the survey link or distribute the attached posters to promote this. Survey link: https://lineguide.net/survey_vlug/
