College news

Hadi is leaving!

Hadi, our IT and IS expert, and jack of all trades, leaves us today for a role with KPMG. Most of you will have talked to him during the four years he has been here since he's been involved in so many aspects of College business, especially anything related to IT, log in details, passwords, how to update ePortfolio, and much more. He would always go the extra mile for anyone and made himself invaluable. The College and office will miss his input and help with so many things.
For those of you who'd like to wish him well, you can send a message to the office and we'll forward it on, or visit his LinkedIn profile: https://www.linkedin.com/in/hadidabdoub/.

Cultural safety resources

We’re pleased to share that the cultural safety resources page is now available for viewing.

We’ve also updated the Tikanga Māori best practice audit. This is accompanied by the Tikanga Best Practice Guidelines for Primary and Community Healthcare in the rohe of Ngāti Whātua document. Ngāti Whātua advise that while the guidance is available to all those who would find it helpful, should you have members that work outside of the Ngāti Whātua region and would like further information or support they may like to reach out to the local mana whenua or see if the local DHB may be able to assist. Our College Māori advisory group may also be able to advise.

POCUS position statement

We've finalised the College's position statement on POCUS. Please review it and provide feedback via the General Manager (adrian@rnzcuc.org.nz). The College is continuining to develop resources in this area and will be able to share them during the year.
