You need to activate your account and verify your email address
We're resent the activation email to everyone who has not yet activated their UCCIS account. Check your spam/junk folder if you don't see it in your inbox. The activation invitation expires after three days; after that time you'll need to email the office (Alex or Claire) to request for another invitation to be sent to you.

    Online resuscitation refresher course

The College recognises that many will have had difficulties attending an in-person resuscitation course due to COVID. The PSC has approved, for 2022 only, an online resuscitation course for those needing to complete the resus refresher training. We are working with ResuscitationSkill to provide the online training.

You will need to book and pay for the course directly with ResuscitationSkills, and the anticipated cost is around $150. It will be a modular course taken at your own pace. Upon completion, you will receive a certificate which you should load to UCCIS.

We are hoping that the course will be ready any time now. We will let you know as soon as it is available.

    Members in the news

Every now and then we hear about our members, their adventures and exploits, often because it's appeared in national media. Executive Committeee member Dinesh Deonarain has been talking in Stuff about wilderness medicine and his hopes to generate funds for good causes through the Aotearoa New Zealand's great walks. The working title of his initiative is Ten x Ten: 10 Great Walks, 10 Great Causes. He hopes to have a website launched later this year. In the interim there's a givealittle page for donations https://givealittle.co.nz/cause/ten-great-walks-ten-great-causes.
