Reminder - Revised recertification draft programme available

We’ve updated the proposed recertification programme and placed a draft version on the website for consultation. We made minor changes as a result of feedback from those in attendance at the webinars on 11 and 12 January. We intend to send a survey to members in February then finalise the programme in time for the AGM. We've also prepared a table of differences between the current and new programme to help you understand the new requirements.

The 2021 Urgent Care Bootcamp and Fellowship dinner will be held at the Rydges, Latimer Square, Christchurch, on September 18 and 19. There'll also be workshops on Friday (17 September) afternoon.

Saturday is the Bootcamp proper, with four sessions, each with four talks of 15 minutes, followed by a Q+A session with the speakers. There'll be ample time for refreshments and to mix and mingle. We will hold longer, more in-depth, presentations on Sunday morning, finishing by lunchtime.

The Fellowship dinner on Saturday evening is our opportunity to congratulate those who have achieved Fellowship in the last two years, including the award of certificates. Those who have achieved Fellowship within the last two years and who are being presented with their certificate will receive a complimentary ticket for the dinner.

Presenters wanted
We're looking for presenters for the Saturday Bootcamp. Now is your opportunity to share your experiences and present to the urgent care family. Talks should be 15 minutes, and deliver vital teaching points relevant to urgent care. Presenters will receive complimentary tickets for the Saturday Bootcamp and Sunday presentations and may claim up to 6 hours of CPD for preparation.

If you wish to volunteer, please complete the application form. You can volunteer more than one talk if you like. Once we have received all applications, we will notify you if your proposed talk has been accepted.
