We hope this finds you well as we venture into the school holidays and the “cold” of winter.

We are conscious that some of you are at capacity and you have increased demand for PPE in response to RSV and COVID-19.

The Ministry of Health will be moving to a daily approvals process for PPE orders to ensure you have access to PPE more regularly and can manage the increased demands. Orders received by 5pm can be batched and approved the following morning by the Ministry to ensure there are regular deliveries across the country.

To manage your stock levels and ensure you do not run out of PPE, the Ministry recommends you place regular orders in line with your PPE usage and the Principles of Supply.

The Ministry will review the frequency for processing orders in the event of any Alert Level changes. You should have received and be holding contingency supplies of PPE for use in raised Alert Levels.

If you have urgent requirements for PPE, please make contact with HCL or Onelink. The contact details at HCL for those located outside the Northern Region are email: mohppeordering@prnzl.co.nz or phone 0800 657775. For those located within the Northern Region, Onelink’s contact details, are mohppe@onelink.co.nz or phone 09 815 2612.

If you have any questions about PPE requirements and supply then please contact the Ministry at Covid.healthsupplychain@health.govt.nz
