Appointment of Director of Professional Development
The College is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr Guy Melrose to the post of Director of Professional Development. Many of you will know Guy from the podcasts, which have been a resounding success in promoting urgent care and the College. He has experience as a clinical director of an urgent care facility, and in developing simulation courses in immediate and urgent care with the University of Auckland.
Guy will be taking the lead in the College’s revised recertification programme, a project started last year and which we hope to implement during 2021. He’ll continue with the podcasts, and will be leading the 2020 virtual Bootcamp (being finalised). He’ll also be leading the College’s strategic aim of developing best practice, including post-Fellowship courses.
