Revised recertification draft programme available
|
We’ve updated the proposed recertification programme and placed a draft version on the website for consultation. It will make for some light summer reading! We plan to hold webinars to answer questions, provide explanations where they are needed, and get initial feedback. These will be Monday 11 and Tuesday 12 January 2021, both starting at 6pm.

ANZBA – Emergency Management of Severe Burns (EMSB) course 2021

Registration is open for the 2021 Emergency Management of Severe Burns (EMSB) courses, held across Australasia by the ANZBA. This course will benefit all who work in UC but especially anyone working rurally or in ED. The ANZBA website also has other educational material, resources, and information so is worth checking out. Māori and Pacific Health funds announcement
|
The 2021 application round for Māori and Pacific Support funding is now open. These funds are specifically to provide Māori and Pacific health and disability workers currently in training, with cultural and technical support relevant to their training programme. This can include access to mentoring, cultural supervision and cultural development activities. The Support Funding is open to any person who:
|
- is currently working and enrolled in a Ministry funded training programme; and,
- has whakapapa and cultural links to whānau, hapū and iwi; or,
- is of Pacific descent and has established cultural links to Pacific communities.
