Dear member / clinic owner,

Please see the advice from the Ministry of Health on supply of PPE to urgent care clinics at different alert levels, and the guideline for provision of PPE from the central supply.
The documents only refer to general practice, but we’ve had the Ministry confirm the advice applies to urgent care too.
They’ve amended their web information and taken steps to include urgent care in future notices.

Briefly:
  • Levels 3 and 4, the MoH will supply ‘full’ PPE to urgent care.
  • Level 2, supply will be of masks only, case-by-case, “when supported by robust evidence of demand and forecasting information.”
  • Level 1, no PPE from the MoH.
With best wishes,

David Gollogly, Jasmine MacKay, Richard Chen, Kelvin Ward
