About the opportunities:

We currently have a number of opportunities within our Local Doctors and White Cross clinics.  The current opportunities include casual and long-term opportunities.  Herewith a list of clinics where we have current opportunities:

Local Doctors – Lincoln Road, Dannemora, Otara Mall and East Tamaki

White Cross – St Lukes, New Lynn, Henderson, Lunn Ave, Glenfield, Otahuhu and Ascot

Other clinics – New Brighton (Christchurch), EastCare (Christchurch), Ratanui and Pukekohe

Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensure clinical services are delivered effectively, efficiently and to a high-quality standard
  • Display a patient-focused approach to clinical duties ensuring that the patient comes first
  • Maintain a high standard of medical skill, knowledge and attitudes by pursuing ongoing education and training in the field of urgent care to a level that ensures competent and safe practice
  • To be responsible for the primary liaison regarding the patient’s treatment in cases of clinical concern

You will need to have:

  • Current registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand
  • Advanced clinical knowledge
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience post-graduation
  • Experience in Emergency Department / General Practice /Urgent Care Clinic
  • The ability to work autonomously in a busy clinic
  • Be able to work the regular after-hours requirement where applicable
  • Satisfactory safety checks in compliance with the Children’s Act
  • Legal right to work in New Zealand
  • Current APC
  • Current Medical Indemnity Insurance
  • Current ACLS certificate
  • Excellent English written and communication skills
