At this stage we are also calling for abstracts linked to Choosing Wisely and the conference themes and posters on innovative NZ Choosing Wisely projects and/or evaluation of Choosing Wisely projects in NZ. Details set out below and on the abstract form.

Abstracts are being called for presentations of up to 10 minutes that focus on the following topics:

  • Choosing Wisely and the sustainability of healthcare.
  • Choosing Wisely and engaging with consumers.
  • Choosing Wisely and shared decision making
  • Choosing Wisely and shared goals of care.
  • Choosing Wisely and choosing equity.

Priority will be given to those adhering to the abstract criteria.

The successful presentations will be selected by a Choosing Wisely committee of health professionals and consumers.

We are also seeking poster presentations on innovative Choosing Wisely projects being implemented in NZ and on the evaluation of NZ Choosing Wisely projects.
