ACC webinars

ACC are running two webinars to engage with the broader primary acute care sector on 30 November.
We want to ensure that anyone involved in the community-based treatment of acute injury or accidents has the chance to attend. We value receiving insights from our Provider colleagues on opportunities for improving the service for our clients, so we are asking participants to submit their questions for us to discuss at the webinar when they register to attend.
We appreciate your feedback also, as we plan future engagement in the sector – we also welcome your questions and ideas. Please share with your colleagues in the sector and ask them to promote through their networks.

We received an email from HDC asking us to share the link to a video for consumers explaining the code of rights. Their excerpt text read:
When you use a health or disability service in Aotearoa New Zealand, you have the protection of the Code of Rights.
It’s important that everyone knows their rights so they can ask questions, seek support, and ensure their voices are heard. The Health and Disability Commissioner has produced an animated video to explain your rights so you can ask questions, get support and make sure your voices are heard.
The video is in te reo Māori and English, we encourage you to share them to make sure everyone knows their rights.”

You can find the video in te reo Māori and English on the HDC website at www.hdc.org.nz/your-rights/videos.
