This month I'm taking a different tack and summarising any important items in the newsletter itself.
|
All members should have seen the email advising them of the Special General Meeting to approve new Society Rules. We will be holding it on 16 December (using zoom webinar) and I will be conducting a webinar prior to the SGM to explain the changes and similarities.
|
|
Thank you everyone who took part in the zoom meetings with the accreditation panel or who completed the surveys.
|
I am pleased to advise that the accreditation visit went well. Although we have not been advised of the final result I am expecting that our accreditation as a training provider for MCNZ is secured for several years, and that we will have only a small number of actions and recommendations to maintain it.
|
|
With many of you completing the accreditation surveys, and with trainees also completing Torohia survey for MCNZ, we have decided NOT to send out the annual survey for members as that would result in survey fatigue for many.
|
We may have to send out some targeted questions to certain individuals or small groups, but I will advise if they appear and we will keep the number of questions to a minimum.
|

Learning resources migration to TalentLMS
|
|
We are steadily moving all resources from the website into TalentLMS. Recently all policies were posted there, and in due course they will disappear from the website. This post explains more about the policies in TalentLMS.
|
|
Guy (DPD) has also rewritten and moved the Essential Knowledge Quizzes into TalentLMS. We are finalising their publication and will advise when that's happened.

We provide a range of CME posts, podcasts, and quizzes on the website.

These are available to all.
|

Our DPD creates some great CME quizzes, including the Essential Knowledge Quiz (required for training programme and recertification programmes).
|
|
You will need to be a member or educational subscriber, and logged in to the website to complete these.
