News from the College

Tēnā koe Dr subscriber,

As well as updates from the Education Committee, Director of Clinical Training, and Registrar Committee, I have several appeals in my report.

We are seeking interest from those wishing to be nominated to MCNZ for a position on the MCNZ Education committee, well-being officers, and people to support Bootcamp 2026 (celebrating the 25th anniversary of the vocational scope).

The Registrar Committee update which includes dates of future registrar-led trainings.
The Chief Executive Officer's report with those requests for help and assistance.
- Included in my report is the College's response to the announcement of the development of the urgent care and after hours framework.

Our DPD creates some great CME quizzes, including the Essential Knowledge Quiz (required for training programme and recertification programmes).

You will need to be a member or educational subscriber, and logged in to the website to complete these.
