June 2024

Tēnā koe Dr subscriber,

Kia ora koutou,
Welcome to the first of our revamped newsletters, with each now including a short update from key people in the College. The extended reports allow people and committeees in the College to share important information in a more informative manner.

Reports from the College

The Chair's report includes a short update on Executive Committee decisions, engagement with the Ministry and Te Whatu Ora, the clinic utilisation project (one of the important strategic objectives), and curriculum and training programme development.

The General Manager's report provides an update on office activities, including change of staff, the initiation of a governance review and our future strategy, an explanation of our approach to future College surveys, and more.

The Education Committee's report covers current reviews, changes implemented to the training programme during 2024, and planned consultation on the training programme (including core skills and WBA).

In this month's Director of Professional Development's report, the DPD uses this newsletter to highlight some of the ways in which our recertification programme allows flexibility in how you complete and record your CPD.
