UCPEX 2021 postponed to February 2022 – dates confirmed
|
|
|
We can confirm that the deferred 2021 UCPEX written paper will be on Friday 25 February and the OSCE on Saturday 26 February 2022. The written paper will be held at the Ellerslie event centre. The OSCE will be held at the Manukau Superclinic.

We will provide a booking system next week to allow registrars to confirm whether they wish to attend or not.

BPAC available for urgent care
|
|
|
The BPAC website, https://bpac.org.nz/mybpac/, now enables doctors to state urgent care as their role when registering. Up until now, the options were GP or Primary Care Doctor (excl GP).
|
For those of you who are not GPs, registering as a Primary Care Doctor did not give you access to the prescribing data reports. However, the new category of Urgent Care will not only enable prescribing data reports to be received it will also enable the comparators to be doctors working and prescribing in a similar environment.
|
|
This will mean the data is more useful to you and will assist greatly when you look to audit your prescribing. We are looking to develop some College approved prescribing audits, but under the new recertification programme you will be encouraged to design your own audits and the information included in these reports will be very helpful.
|
